I believe everything said was very logical. However, think on this, suppose you added a little content? I am not saying your information is not solid., however what if you added a headline that makes people want more? I mean "Because Sometimes It's Dark..." is kinda vanilla. You ought to glance at Yahoo's front page and see how they create article headlines to get people to click. You might try adding a video or a related picture or two to grab readers excited about everything've written. In my opinion, it could bring your blog a little livelier.
Thank you for your sound advice; I think you are right. Also, I believe there's a fine line between selling and sharing. I'm sharing, so I don't think I need to conform to any rules; I don't fight for popularity here. My goal is to be 'me', even if it sounds vanilla and even if it doesn't generate any clicks. I'm keeping your comment, though, because I know it may help those who want to make their blogs liked or admired by many people, but don't know how.
