And today (first time in my entire life), I'm going to publicly admit that I like this song (well, the lyrics more than anything else). I can't possibly imagine myself confessing that I liked GnR (ever so little) when I was a teenager. They were way too commercial, too popular and too mainstream. Well, nothing like what I would proudly call 'My Music'... I must be getting old. And one more symptom of my ageing. I can't stand 'thanks' (instead of 'thank you') any more... Even if it's just thanking for nothing. Seriously.

Happy New Year!

It's been a while again... I know.

Instead of my extended wishes, I just want to share this Turkish proverb with you: "Things never go so well that one should have no fear, and never so ill that one should have no hope." I think it's important to always keep things in  perspective.

Loads of images have been added to my Facebook page, some newer ones have been published on the Italian Vogue website, one has made its appearance on the BBC among the 12 chosen for 2014 photos of Wales round-up (even though I stopped submitting my pics last summer- no time), but I feel like sharing one at the moment .

Just a Tiny Smile

I don't like smiles in photos too much because I see grins as a distraction. The one below was taken because a good friend of mine kept asking for it persistently. To me, smiley photos (typically!) are about nothing - just a little bit of, usually meaningless, sweetness, but there we go!
