Forgetting to Remember And Remembering to Forget

The title is about what I was thinking about today in the morning, together with forgetting about forgetting, as I woke up at 3:20 am and it's not related to this portrait. You can find a slightly different version of it here, but I just felt like ignoring the environment for a moment (well, not completely if you're attentive) and making it more about Hannah.

Also, I can't believe that days will be getting shorter in just a month and five days again.

And today (first time in my entire life), I'm going to publicly admit that I like this song (well, the lyrics more than anything else). I can't possibly imagine myself confessing that I liked GnR (ever so little) when I was a teenager. They were way too commercial, too popular and too mainstream. Well, nothing like what I would proudly call 'My Music'... I must be getting old. And one more symptom of my ageing. I can't stand 'thanks' (instead of 'thank you') any more... Even if it's just thanking for nothing. Seriously.

Happy New Year!

It's been a while again... I know.

Instead of my extended wishes, I just want to share this Turkish proverb with you: "Things never go so well that one should have no fear, and never so ill that one should have no hope." I think it's important to always keep things in  perspective.

Loads of images have been added to my Facebook page, some newer ones have been published on the Italian Vogue website, one has made its appearance on the BBC among the 12 chosen for 2014 photos of Wales round-up (even though I stopped submitting my pics last summer- no time), but I feel like sharing one at the moment .
